Plus Plus Tutoring offers personal one-on-one in-home tutoring services in most K-12 subjects.
An experienced, professional and qualified private tutor assists the student in homework help, review of classroom material, test and exam preparation for the class, as well as study and organization skills. Tutoring is done in your home, school or workplace or at a neutral location. We offer math tutoring, Reading tutoring, writing tutoring, English tutoring, Science tutoring, social studies tutoring, world studies tutoring, and tutoring in most other subjects available at your child's school. We do not offer online tutoring services. We offer both one-on-one and small group instruction. We provide instruction in all grade levels, all subjects and for all ages.
Private tutoring services are offered year-round including the summer and winter. Our tutors emphasize learning strategies such as time management, note taking, skimming, prioritizing, reading ahead, active listening, test taking, and outlining. We work with students attending full time public schools, private schools. We also work with home-schooled students.
Our tutors work on a flexibile schedule and there are no contracts. Our tutors evaluate the student during the first session and suggest the optimal number of hours of tutoring a week. However, we do not require a minimum of hours a week.
Our subjects and rates are listed below. We also offer tutoring services in International Baccalaureate courses and remedial college courses. Currently, we do not offer physical education, art, or music tutoring services. We also generally do not work with Pre-K students. If your course is not listed, please e-mail us. Availability of tutors may vary depending on location.
